Chuan Fa Liu
Chuan-Fa Liu is an associate professor at the School of Biological Sciences of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Montpellier in France in 1989 under Professor Bertrand Castro and Dr. Jean-Alain Fehrentz. He conducted post-doctoral studies in the laboratory of Professor James P. Tam at the Rockefeller University and Vanderbilt University. He then worked as a research scientist at Amgen where he and his colleagues successfully developed the protein drug Nplate®. He joined NTU in 2003. The current research interest of his group is in the areas of peptide and protein chemistry and drug discovery.
